Introduction

InstallShield Express – Visual FoxPro Limited Edition is provided to you courtesy of InstallShield via Microsoft Visual FoxPro. It offers a subset of the capabilities and features available in the full edition of InstallShield Express 3.03.

Minimum System Requirements

To run InstallShield Express – Visual FoxPro Limited Edition, you should have the following:

Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0 (Intel) operating system with Service Pack 4 installed or Windows 2000
Administrative Privileges on the system
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (SP2) or higher if running on NT 4.0 or Windows 95
Pentium-class PC ( 300 MHz or higher recommended )
64 megabytes of RAM ( 128 MB recommended )
Disk Space required for Web Download: 260MB before installation and 130MB after the install is complete
Super VGA monitor (with the screen resolution set to at least 800 x 600, small fonts setting)

Migrating Existing Projects

Setup projects created with 2.x versions of InstallShield Express can be migrated to this version. To open a project created by an earlier version of Express, select Open from the File menu or click the Open button on the toolbar. In the Open InstallShield Project dialog, select InstallShield Express Projects (*.iwz) in the Files of Type field and select the Express project you would like to open. Click the Open button to begin migrating this project. For more details on migration, refer to the help topic "Migrating from earlier versions of Express" in the online help library.
